System name
Hallo GS728TXPv3 with firmware: 6.2.2.40 This is a new switch and i just did the basic setup wenn i hung it in a DC. Besecly the old switch was still in use. Now that one is gone and i want...
But i can not change the name or system contact.
System Name, System Location, and System Contact can be configured in the Web UI under
- System -> Management -> System Information
The System Name can always be configured, independent of the Insight Management mode.
System Location, and System Contact fields are greyed in Insight mode. There is a radio button (on/off) control, to temporarely disable Insight mode on the- Dashboard in the Device Details
All the other SNMP controls - for v1/v2 as well as for v3 - are under
- System -> Protocols -> SNMP ...
But i can not change the name or system contact.
