Hi fofwisdom,
Welcome to NETGEAR community, 1514 restriction is only for ICMP packet, for other normal network traffic, Jumbo packet size (default) is 9216, DUT will drop packet larger than 9216 size.
Let's know if you see different result in further testing.

About the size of the packet exceeds 1473, how do you check it? What the packet is? And can you send me the network topology? Look forward your reply, thanks.
Through all packets draw. Trunk and inside traffic all of them.

Hi fofwisdom,
- For XS708Ev2, Switch support to reply an ICMP Echo request (PING) that is in any size smaller than 1514 bytes.
According it, I ping my XS708Ev2 :192.168.1.32, and the size is 1472, the length is 1514, ping ok. If the size is 1473, ping fail. And it is limitation.
Hope it can help you. :smileyhappy:

Hi fofwisdom,
- For XS708Ev2, Switch support to reply an ICMP Echo request (PING) that is in any size smaller than 1514 bytes.
If ping packet size is 1472, I capture the total packet length is 1514 by wireshark. So if ping bigger than 1472, ping will fail, due to the whole length will longer than 1514.

Well. ICMP isze allowed ony under 1473? Is normal network traffic green?
But I was experienced that my real network communicate dropped to simlar 10Mbps or error, in my memory. I will test again soon.
Thanks.
