    The GS316EP is in it's core an unmanaged switch, with a tiny uC attached for implementing a very simple Web UI (plus the obsolete NSDP) with some basic config controls.

     

    There are neither MAC ACL nor a https Web UI available, simply not possible due to the lack of tech and resources - sold at the street price of an unmanged switch - it's in no aspect a managed switch.

     

    The GS316EP downloads are there ->  https://www.netgear.com/support/product/gs316ep/ including the documentation and comprehensive product description.

     

    Said that, I'll challenge a moderator to move this thread to the Plus And Smart Switches Forum section to discuss Smart Switches (T) and Plus Switches (E), including Local and Remote Management.
