NETGEAR MS305 & Virgin Media Hub 5 - No internet (2.5GbE)

Hi everyone,

Recently received my MS305 switch. Plugged it into my current working setup and now getting no internet.

- VM Hub5 2.5GbE output to MS305 port 5 (Cat7)
- MS305 port 4 to my PC (Cat6a)

At first windows was showing internet but it wasn't actually working. After reboots of the hub, switch and PC,swapping cables and ports it's just showing as no internet now.

Calledb NETGEAR support and they say if the lights are flashing then there's nothing wrong with the switch.

Any suggestions?

PC was working fine before on the Cat7 from the hub and still does work.

    Try port 1 from the MS305 to the ISP modem? 

    Power off the gateway modem off for 30 seconds then back ON?

      This didn't work unfortunately.
      I read a post on the Virgin Media forums that they had an issue with their 2.5 port on their router and disabled "802.03az (Energy Efficient Ethernet)" on their switch.
      Assuming I can't do this as it's unmanaged.

      I've plugged the switch into a 1GbE port on the router now and it works fine. So clearly it seems there's an issue with my router port.
