Not enough power?

Hi there.

I have one install with about 10 of these poe+ switches with cambium poe+ access points on most ports and all is good. I have another site with one of these switches and just 2 of the same access points connected and the APs were rebooting. I got cambium to take a look and they said the access points weren't getting anough power. I changed the switch but got the same issue. I had those APs running back at my desk on the same switch type and they were fine. I bought power injectors and the APs have been fine since but I can't understandf why they won't run on the switch. Is there any posibility that the source power isn't clean or something like that? I do have a couple of poe phones on the switch and they're fine.

Thanks.

There's different power adapters for those models that allow different power levels. If you look at what power adapter is on the switch, it should tell you what power it puts out on the datasheet for that supply. That could be the difference.

What Cambium AP is it? It could be boarder line "just enough" power for short distances but with longer runs, have enough power loss it isn't stable.

Yeh I always use the same, big power supplies so it's not that.
