FVS338 firmware issue

hi,

I've do many hard reset and i lost the firmware, the led test is always turn on.

i not have a web access managing !

when i connect directly to the computer by eternet cable the IP adress of the computer is 169.254.237.43 netmask 255.255.0.0.

i've download the last firmware and try to upload it, but by the lan connexion or serial cable connexion don't work.

step 1 : witch operating system can i to used for upload the firmware : linux (debian), windows 7 pro, or FreeBSD and openBSD ?

step 2 : how upload the firmware : serial cable (com) or ethernet cable with tcp/ip ?

    Hello phipo_neo,

     

    Welcome to the community! 

     

    It appears bricked, try resetting the router/firewall using the sequence below: 

     

    1. Push and hold the reset button for 30 seconds. 
    2. Turn off the unit, continue to hold the reset button for another 30 seconds. 
    3. Turn on the unit, and hold the reset button for 30 seconds more. 
    4. Release the reset button and let the unit boot normally. 

    See if this will make any difference.

      hi,

      i've found a program for upload the firmware : cutecom

      but after spook with a friend this last tell me tha there are 2 memory flash

      Now how i can to swap the firmware into the primary flash
