IPTV Behind WAX204

Hi,

I wanted to upgrade my WIFI to WIFI 6, replacing a WAC104 by a WAX204.

The probleme is, my IPTV box behind the router does'nt work anymore with WAX204.

I'm using the WAX204 in AP mode, not routeur, when I plug back the WAC104 everything works fine.

It's seems like the WAX204 either block IGMP or VLAN that goes from my router (Ubiquiti EdegeRouterLite) to the IPTV Box (Orange TV)

I have tried :

  • switch the RJ45 cable from router from WAN port to a standard LAN port
  • switch back to router mode, enable IGMP, disable QoS etc and switch back to AP mode

Does a static routes could help ?

Neither of those is one of the devices covered i this section for General WiFi Routers (Non-Nighthawk and Non-Orbi).

While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge, especially "business" products.

You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:

I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.

In the meantime you could visit the support pages:

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.

You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.

I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

      Hi,

From Netgear FR,  I tried in router mode to set a Bridge VLAN, it works in router MODE but is broken when switching back to AP MODE.

I will stay in router MODE + VLAN bridge on all LAN port + WIFI 1.
