POE for WAC510

Can NETGEAR  GS305P v2 power the WAC510 Router?

  • It should. The WAC510 only needs a 802.3af power supply that can supply 9.3 watts.

The GS305Pv2 is a 802.3af power supply that can max put out 63 watts between all its ports with up to 30 watt on a single port max. (according to its spec sheet)

      thank you for your reply.

I already ordered it, can't wait to try it!

I already bought 2 PoE switches(non NEATGEAR) and they don't power the WAC510.

        Good luck!

In theory it should work. We'll see what reality says 🙂
