WAC505 looses configuration after power loss

Hallo,

i´m using a WAC505 AccessPoint which is powered through POE. Everything is working perfect, but if i encounter a power loss, the configuraton of the wac505 is also lost. what is wrong? i'm using it in standalone config mode - no cloud...

is the ap broken?

yes, factory default. so i opend a replacement call at netgear support
the exchange the ap to a new one.
now everything is working

it seems that the config could not stored permanently in the chips

Welcome to the Netgear Community. Do you know the firmware version that AP is running?

Does this happens when you do manual reboot from UI?

Does this happens when you connect AP with external power supply and reboot happens because of power shutdown?

  Hi,
  the firmware is the latest (i think): V3.1.0.12
  no power supply used (because shipped without) --> connected via netgear poe switch
  on manual reboot the config is still available!
  only if i disconect the ethernet cable oder power of the switch - the config is lost!

    Could you please save the detailed logs from monitoring page and send it for us to debug?

Can you share the switch model details that you have connected your AP?

  the switch is a dlink (not netgear), modell DGS-1008P from d-link
  
  other poe devices are working ok - e.g video surveillance cams...
