    Hello Des woffy​ 

     

    No direct replacement, no more ensemble APs available I'm afraid. Times have changed towards cloud management, WPA3, ... Huge wireless bandwidth up to 12..20 Gb/s, and WiFi 7 are standard today.

     

    Second hand market for WAC720/730 probably?

Ok ended up with a s/h WAC720

it will not join ensemble rather it starts a new one and commandeers management IP

Also it seems it came from US and only has US/Canada as an option for country/region

I have updated firmware on all to V3.9.1.13 still no joy

is there a workaround for country/region or should I look elsewhere for WAPs

FCC and other strict regulation bodies don't allow free regulatory changes. 

 

There is no official supported way to make this happen.

    only for units sold in US it seems

    it would be nice to bring it in line with those sold in the rest of the world where we can select our country/region

    is there an unofficial way before I scrap the unit?
