wax202 no ethernet connection
Hello,
I have a wax202(AX1800) I was using as an access point then decided to move it to main router function so I did a reset. I don't know if its related but now I have no ethernet connection(no orange or green light and no internet connection to pc or laptop) My old netgear router has a working throughput for ethernet when connected so it's not an isp or cable issue. tried a pushbutton reset a few times no luck, is my 202 dead? Is there a way to push a firmware update without an internet connection? ty

When you decided to move it to router mode, did you go into the settings and change it to router mode? its default is AP mode.
Page 32 of the manual goes over changing modes on it.

No I just reset it and planned on setting it up through the portal but it seems my wan port is not letting anything in. it's connected to lan on my old router but I am unable to connect to the wifi and there is no light at all for the internet light on the wax202.
When you try to connect to the wifi, what error do you get?
Or if you try wiring a pc into a lan port
Did you fully reset it? Make sure while its powered on to push and hold reset for up to 15 seconds. The lights should change.
That should get you back to the default to where the information on the sticker is correct.
I fully reset it, my phone is saying that network has no internet access. Now it's connected in ap mode after my old netgear router. connecting from the wax202 lan to pc kills the otherwise working lan connection from the old netgear. it seems like the wan port on the wax202 is dead, troubleshootiing no light in the manual didn't help. appreciate the help btw
