WAX214 wifi second unit without ethernet
I want to connect two WAX214's to get full coverage aroundthe house.
One of them I can connect via ethernet to the router - which is a BT Smarthub 2.
But the second one will be in an area of the house that does not have any CAT 6 cabling.
Can this be done with the WAX214?
(It sounds like a simple question but I've searched high and low and cannot find the definitive answer.)

No.
the WAX214 doesn't have wifi repeating.
Its needs to be hardwired in.

Thanks for the swift reply!! That takes care of that then.
Will the WAX610 do this then (or rather a pair of them)?

If you're wanting a mix of wired and wireless access points, I'd be looking at the orbi line. There's always the pro line if you're wanting a business setup.
