How to disable TCP Port 4444

Greetings!

I was told by the network security guy saying that my M4250 switch has a vulnerability on TCP Port 4444, I found out it is using on the web based terminal window on the admin gui. I have already disable all telnet, ssh services, but the network security team doesn't happy on that.

Is there any way to stop the port 4444?

Thanks for any input. (The screen capture of the scan result is attached for your reference)

  • Generally valid answer is to put up some ACL to the switch config.

Hi schumaku , thanks for getting back. Yup, I have just put in a few lines on the IP ACL to block the questioning port. Have a good day!
