Genie Cannot change access control filter level for certain devices

When I use the Android Genie app, when i try to change the filter level for certain devices, I get the error "Setting Failed".

The PC app also fails to change the filter level, but I do not receive an error. It simply doesn't work.

I am able to change the flter level for other devices.

I'm using the latest firmware on the Router and I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the apps.

 

Why would this fail to work on specific devices?

    1. What is the firmware version of the router?

    2. What is the Genie version on the PC and the mobile device?

    3. Have you tried resetting the router?

      1. What is the firmware version of the router?

      Hardware Version           R7000

      Firmware Version            V1.0.9.6_1.2.19

      GUI Language Version   V1.0.9.6_2.1.38.1

      1. What is the Genie version on the PC and the mobile device?

      Genie version Version 2.4.38, and I'm using the PC app, the iOS app, and the Android app. They all fail to update settings for the same certain devices. They all are able to update settings for the same other devices. All three apps fail and succede with the identical devices in identical ways.

       

      1. Have you tried resetting the router?

      Yes, several times.
