Cannot Connect to Orbi

We had a power glitch, and after recovery, I suddenly cannot connect to my RBRE960 router (or satellites).  The router is working, and I have both WiFi and internet, but whenever I try to connect to the router, via either my browser ("192.168.1.1 refused to connect") or the app ("Unable to connect to router"), it fails.  The funny thing is, on the app, under "My Products," it shows a green dot next to my router and "Connected via Anywhere Access."

I've restarted the router and modem multiple times, but still no-go. Restarted the computer, etc.  Still no-go.

My setup:

RBRE960 router and 3  RBSE960 satellites

Nighthawk CM2050V Cable Modem

Appreciate any insights anyone can give.

Thanks.

It might be useful to double check that the router is still defining the LAN with the same IP subnet (192.168.1.x)

Open the network settings of a device connected to the system and look up

    • The IP address that has been assigned to the device.
    • The IP address of the internet "gateway".

If the gateway is not 192.168.1.1, then that is the reason it does not appear there.

I just checked, and I on my iPad, iPhone, laptop (all WiFi) and desktop (hardwire to the router), I get an IP of 192.168.1.x, and they all show the default at 192.168.1.1 where it should be. It's really puzzling (and frustrating).

Do other devices have same issue or only this one PC?

Try powering OFF the CM modem and RBR for 30 seconds then back ON.

    Check your PCs networking settings.

None of the computers (laptop or desktop) can reach the router at 192.168.1.1.

I've powered off/on the modem/router numerous times, in every sequence you can imagine.

If the Orbi LAN does not have IP 192.168.1.1, then of course it cannot be reached at that IP address.

Since the Orbi app does connect using Anywhere Access, please navigate to the router "Details" tab and scroll to the bottom line.

What IP address does it show there?

Here's my challenge: after working flawlessly for 18 months at that IP, it seems to have "burped" after the power glitch.  Some of the functions work, or seem to. Here's what I mean.

I can't reach the router to see the "details."

For some reason I can't embed the screenshot I'm trying to show.  I'll try to attach it.

For description, at the bottom of the screen that shows

the router with the green dot and "Connected via anywhere access" it shows "Unable to connect to router," so I can't view the router details to see IP address.

And now it appears I cannot even attach the screenshot...

Did you try a factory reset/reinstall? Maybe something was corrupted in the power glitch

I've been hoping to avoid the factory reset and reinstall hassle.  I'm losing hope that I'll be able to do that.
