Orbi 770 keeps disconnecting Smart Home devices even with 2.4 GHz
Just installed the Orbi 770 with 2 satellites to completely cover the house. IoT WiFi is enabled with 2.4 GHz only. All the smart home devices (Ring cameras, Google Home, etc) when connected will have great signal and works flawlessly.
But for whatever reason, the devices will disconnect randomly (usually once a day) and the network map will show that the router and satellite is working but the smart home devices will not (re)connect unless I reboot the router. How can I keep them connected? Is there an advanced setting I am overlooking or is this a defective product?

What leads to this conclusion?
- These devices no longer appear on the web interface list of "Attached Devices"?
- These devices no longer appear on the Orbi 'app' list of Connected Devices?
- The smartphone apps for these devices say that they are "not available"?
- Are ALL WiFi devices connected to the IoT network affected, or only some devices?

It seems to only affect Smart Home Devices (Ring cameras, Google Home, etc), but it will be random in that regard as well.
For example sometimes all the Ring cameras will be offline and sometimes most of them will be offline. Under Device Manager in the Orbi App, it will say "Device is offline" and if I were to go to Ring app it will say that there is no internet connection, despite having internet. They will only reconnect after I reboot the router. Unsure why they disconnect in the first place as well.
This problem occurred whether the Smart Home Devices were connected to the main WiFi Network or the IoT Network.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too? What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR 📡 and RBS 🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.
https://kb.netgear.com/31029/Where-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite 🛰Does this happen with the RBS turned OFF?
Does this happen with both wireless and wired devices?
What channel configurations are currently set on the router?lunik wrote:

Firmware: v10.5.19.5
Modem: Netgear CM1100
Home Size: 6000 sq ft
Router to Satellite: Roughly 30 ft
RBS turned OFF? I have noticed once that it will stay disconnected when the RBS was randomly rebooting by itself, I do not believe this has an effect. The RBS when sync, is also blue and I believe it is a good connection.
Devices Effected: Wireless devices only (all Smart Home devices like Ring cameras)
Channel Configurations: The effected devices are all on IoT (2.4 GHz Only). SSID is set to 2.4GHz: Auto and 5 GHz:40

How many devices do you have connected on the IoT network?
Try setting 2.4Ghz to manual channel 1, 6 or 11.
So all main WLAN devices are working ok?
You can try un-checking 20/40Mhz coexistence under Advanced tab/Advanced/Advanced Wireless settings to see if this may help or not.

There is no advanced setting. Once a device connects to WiFi, it stays connected until it decides to disconnect.
I suspect the Smart Home environment may be affecting individual device behavior. What happens if a device that is prone to network disconnection is removed from Smart Home?

Does this mean that this system remains within the magic 90 days of 'complimentary support'?
