Orbi RBR750 doesn't have Smart Parental Control feature

I have Orbi RBR750 Firmware Version V4.6.9.11_2.3.5

How do I enable the Smart Parental Control feature? It is not on my Android app (v 2.20.2.2506) and nothing in the GUI admin access portal either.

I checked the documentation and it seems to support RBR750 but how do I get it? Thanks, Mike

Is see no hint that the Orbi RBR750 supports parental controls.

Thank you, but it does. RBR750 is listed in the Netgear Smart Parental Control list

The RBR750 Product Data Sheet prominently mentions Smart Parental Control on page 1.

        https://www.netgear.com/images/datasheet/orbi/RBK752.pdf

        and on page 4:

I find it (almost) amusing that the word "Parental" does not appear in the RBR750 user manual.

On my Orbi app, Parental Controls is the bottom right panel. Maybe it has scrolled down out of sight?

p.s. The current fiasco with the Orbi 'app' may in some way be affecting what shows in the app.

    Hi mib123 ,

Do you change your account in Orbi App ?

Since SPC bind with your account (first login during installation)

    Thanks.

      Hi iyang ,

I didn't change the account in-app (as far as I remember). I set my Orbi a year ago, and I don't recall any changes to the app that I could actually make (like removing a tile in app configuration or something like that). I also deleted the app on my phone and re-installed it and still don't see the parental control tile.

I sort of wonder if I do a full factory reset of the entire Orbi system, do you think it will make a difference? I appreciate your help on this. Thanks, Mike

        A factory reset maybe needed.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

    Hi mib123 ,

I suggest that you can contact to netgear support team.

And if you can provide your account(mail) info, they may help to check why SPC not show in the APP.

    Thanks.

  • Did you receive an answer for your quesiton? I have the same one. It seems as though my orbi router is supposed to have the parental controls, but I don't see the parental control tile...anywhere. I have the RBK753
