Have to Reset my CM500 when I Reboot the Computer

When I have to Reboot my Lenovo ideapad 70017ISK Laptop the Internet quits working. The Ethernet connection shows service and when I run the Windows 10 Troubleshooting it doesn't show any problems but I still can't connect to any Websites with the Browser. What I have to do is Reset the CM500 and then I can connect to the Web again. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

do you connect anything else in between?

On every cable modem, it learns MAC address of the client connected to the LAN port. If you connect more than 1 device (WITHOUT REBOOTING the CM), it will not allow you internet traffic.

My Laptop is the only thing connected to the CM500 with an Ethernet cable. I don't use WIFI or Bluetooth.

can you please tell how to reproduce the problem step by step?

        for e.g.

step1: both laptop and CM500 connect and and online (result = internet connected)

        step2: reset/reboot laptop (

        step3:..

        step4:...

        step 10..

it would us to know what is happening.
