LAN1, LAN2, LAN4 link down on AC1750 Firmware Version V3.01.14

Hi, my ethernet LAN1, LAN2, and LAN4 all have a status of Link Down.  Lan3 is working. My router is the AC1750 WiFi cable modem model C6300.  The firmware version V3.01.14.  Is there a way to fix this or do I have to buy a new router?

Thanks!

  • And if they're sending you a replacement, I'd mark this as solved so others don't try to fix a hardware failure thinking this isn't resolved. :)

Even when I do not have things plugged into LAN1,2,4 they still do not work.

You can visually inspect the ports and see if they pins are bent/corroded.

But if a factory reset doesn't fix the issue, about the only other thing to try would be to have the ISP reprovision the modem.

If the issue is a corrupt firmware problem, that'd be the only way to overwrite it.

Thanks how would I have the ISP reprovision the modem? I called netgear and they said there is a virus and the only way to have it fixed is to sign up for a $99.99 6 month service.
