Netgear Gateway AC1750 Modem Router C6300 Time is Wrong

I have a Netgear gateway AC1750  C6300  on which the TIME is WRONG.  The manual states you can change this under Advanced > Security > Schedule, but there is no such setting.  What is ironic, is that to sign up for this forum, I was allowed to set my time-zone!

None of the scheduling in the advanced settings seem to work without the correct time.  Even if I try to simply adjust my schedule to the wrong time on the modem it doesn't work. If I set up blocking "per schedule" it is either all or nothing and the modem/router ignores the time frames that are set.  I could block for 1 hour in the day, and if blocking is scheduled "per schedule" all acces is cut off.

What's interesting is there are posts dating back to 2015 regarding this same issue that are un-resoved.  You mean to tell me Netgear has no solution to this two years later???  This is my last ditch effort to solve this before I return this lemon of a modem router to BestBuy.  I'd appreciate any assistance.

    Hello mlipink

The time is set by the ISP CMTS which does not follow daylight savings so no manual way to get the current time.

      O.K.  Thanks.

I'm assuming I won't be able to implement a curfue schedule per device then.   Like I said, if any access blocking is implemented per schedule, no matter how small a time frame, all access is cut off all day.

I guess I'll be returning, because unplugging every night to keep the kids off is not an option.

who is your ISP? Is the ISP not sending ToD time itself or is it just off by 1 hour?

    please provide event log?
