Powerline 1000 reboots when loading an HD streaming video service

I recently purchased the powerline Wifi 1000 Essentials Edition to help extend the wifi network into the back of my house. It seemingly works fine on iphone, ipad, etc until I load ANY HD streaming service like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. Then the wifi unit reboots, thus dropping the connection to the network. I've tried multiple outlets, in multiple rooms, even putting it directly next to the unit that is connected to the base station. All with the same results, the unit reboots. Thoughts before I outright return these things?
