XAV5602 stop working
Hi,
I wonder if someone can help.
Just over three years ago, I purchased a pair of Powerline AV500, (XAV5602).
I plugged them in, and they worked, right up to a couple of months ago.
Then, I could not get them to talk to the PC’s, although the Power, PowerLine and Ethernet were all solid green on both XAV5602’s.
I tried pressing the Factory Reset, singly or both ends, but the PC’s could not connect to anything.
Anyone got any ideas, or do they normally just run for three years :)
Thanks,
Bryan.

Cpl (courants porteurs en ligne) = powerline in English -_-"- JamesGLMaster
Hi Feynek,
Thank you for the clarification. What are the lights lit up with the 2nd powerline? It might be a hardware issue since another powerline adapter works with the 1st adapter.

My question is that I don't know what a "cpl" is.
Does cpl stand for something? Is it something form another language? Or is it your special name for a powerplug?
Remember, this forum works in English (well, American English, which is near enough).
- FeynekTutorOne of my cpl, can work in all room but the second didn't want work.
Maybe because i've plugged it on power trip for try? - FeynekTutorHi James,
The second cpl work in all room.

Bonjour,
Amicalement,
Feynek.Hello,
I just changed my cpl (that of my room) to room to go to my office but plugging it back in, it did not emit no lights at the indicator lights, I have nonetheless left connected and I have tested in the connecting it to my computer but to no avail.
I have tried everything (to my knowledge, even by plugging it instead of Cpl connected to my internet box ...What can I do?
Sincerely,
Feynek.- JamesGLMaster
Hi Feynek,
Try to connect the 2nd adapter closer or in just one room with the 1st adapter and check the lights.

Hi BAnslow,
1. Can you try connecting other device on the adapter if same problem?
2. Check if the computer is getting a valid IP from the adapter. If there is, what is the IP address?

Hi,
I changed the devices, there were two DELL Desktops connected, now just a Dell Laptop.
Yes, it does get an IPADdress;
Here is the relevant IPCONFIG Output;

Hi BAnslow,
Since you are using a laptop and the IP on ethernet is not valid, please try to disable the wireless LAN of your laptop as it will only detect one connection at a time.
