Netgear n300 usb adapter doesnt work..
So i recently built a computer and i know everything works fine. Ask for specs if you need them but anyway whats important is this adapter. This is my second one. Both have done the same thing to me. The first one stopped being recognized so i thought it was my computer and after ruining the corrupted driver more it wasnt detected at all... So i decided to restart my computer completley with windows 7. After that the computer still couldnt recognize the usb adapter even after installing the software. I followed all the installation steps perfectly. So i even called the netgear help desk to trouble shoot and nothinf worked so i have gotten this replacement today and it worked awesomely like the first one did... But then my computer froze i guess and when i restarted i wasnt connecting tonthe internet. Just like the first one. Except my computer still recognizes this usb adapter it just wont download the driver or what wver and the stupid genie wont open either.. Why wont anything work???? Can someone help me? Ive turned off avg completely as well as my fire wall and my wlan thing is on automatic and is started. What can i do?

Hi Hxllxwas,
Uninstall the driver of the adapter. Once done uninstalling, reinstall using the standalone driver and not the drive with genie.
