Netgear WNA3100 not compatible with Netgear router?
I'm running a R7000 wireless router and have routinely connected to it via www.routerlogin.net to configure settings. I had previously used an old Linksys wireless G adapter to connect. I decided to upgrade to to WNA3100 N adaper. Now I cannot connect to the router either through the URL or the IP address. Firefox says "cannot connect". If I swith to a laptop (using factory adapters), no problem. It is only with the WNA3100 adapter that this problem occurs.

Hi Riverrider2,
1. What is the OS of your computer?
2. What is the driver version of the adapter?
3. Try to uninstall and reinstall the driver.

The computer is running Win7. The WiFi adapter is running firmware v2.2.0.4 and the router is running firmware v 1.0.7.10. I'm runing Kaspersky Total Security for anti-virus protection.

Hi Riverrider2,
Uninstall the drivers of the adapter. Reinstall it using the standalone driver.
