Question

WNDA3100v3 will not connect VMWare Player to internet and shuts down netgear genie when I click connect under removable devices and cannot be pulled up again until after restart. i have a bridged network connection set to my adapter in the network settings on my Virtual Machine. Is there any way to fix this problem?? I tried ordering a different brand but i have to wait for it to ship in before i can try the new brand out and would prefer to not have to wait for the shipment to arrive.

When you try to use other adapter like the LAN adapter, where you able to connect to the Internet with VMWare Player?

Yes, but only when I reverted back to my previous operating system that I had upgraded from.

Just to verify even when using&nbsp;the LAN adapter you are unable&nbsp;to connect to the Internet with VMWare Player with the latest OS? May I know what is the current and the previous OS you are using.

That is correct, the LAN adapter will not connect to the internet with the VMWare Player in Windows 10, no LAN adapter that I tried would. I am using Windows 7 and had been using Windows 7 before I tried upgrading to 10.&nbsp;

Correct me if I am wrong, both adapters(Netgear and LAN) works fine with VMWare when it is running on windows 7 but both adapters did not work or unable to go online on VMWare when updated to Windows 10. Am I correct?
