Change to different wifi source
I want to set up my Netgear EX6200 with a different wifi source. I am using it on a boat and move around quite a bit. I wish to be able to use different wifi in various marinas. I tried to do a factory reset by pushing the interior button with a paper clip for seven seconds. However it still shows the old 2.4 and 5 mhz output channels. I cannot find a way in to designate a new wifi internet source to rebroadcast using this range extender. does it have the capacity to search for available wifi and enter a password? Will I have to re-enter the information if I return to a wifi that I have used in the past or will it retain more than one wifi network with it's unique password?
Hello explorer12
You have to factory reset the unit for every new router you want to connect the unit to make sure you hold the reset button for 10 + seconds.

When I follow the instsructions, puch in the reset pin in the back and hold for seven seconds, it does not seem to do a true factory reset. When I sign in to the repeater, the old named 2.4 and 5 mhz networks are still showing. By all rights with a factory reset, they should not be present any longer.
Any tips to assure a complete factory reset?Log into the EX6200, go to Settings > Other and select the Reset option.
