Connecting to Verizon Router
Hi,
I moved my Extender from a Brighthouse service to a Verizon FIOS service with the supplied equipment. I reset the extender to factory settings to avoid confusion. I set up the extender and the devices can connect to the actual axtender and network, but it does not give my devices access to the internet. This makes me believe it is not coupling properly to the Verizon Router to get external access.
Any ideas?
Thx!

- lurzanNoviceLogin to the extender settings using www.mywifiext.net and check the connection status. That will give you clear idea if the extender is already connected to router or not.
- pbfreeNoviceI could not access the extender again using the mywifiext.net. I again reset to factory settings and again went through the process as described in the installation guide. I used the passphrase/password of the existing network, the process went through without a hitch. The last step in the process is to connect the mobile devices. I tried to do this but my S4 (e.g.) saw the extender network, but would not connect. I tried to reenter the password, no avail. Going back to the laptop I thought I'd connect the mobiles later and clicked ok on connected devices. On doing that (last step in procedure) the setup came back with "this page is unavailable" screen. Trying to access the extender with mywifiext.net does not work, it shows "this page is unavailable".
Is there any other way of setting this up? - pbfreeNoviceJust an added note here. I can connect my laptop to the _2GEXT network but it does not connect to the internet and it does not allow me access to the extender in any way what so ever.
Very frustrated. This unit worked without problems on other networks, which makes it even more difficult to understand.
Any help would be very welcome.
