WN1000RP won't connect to router at all

Question

Hi everyone,&nbsp;I am having real trouble trying to set up my&nbsp;WN1000RP extender. I have tried everything in the set up guide but I cannot get it to connect to the router. It's not a proximity issue because I have tried it even plugged in right next to the router.&nbsp;&nbsp;The new _EXT network shows up on all devices, but when we go to log in we're told our password is incorrect. But the LED light to indicate the extender is actually connected to the router isn't even on.&nbsp;&nbsp;I managed to set up my iPhone using the wizard and IP address instead, using the same password we tried on other devices, but that drops out after a few minutes.&nbsp;&nbsp;I have also done a factory reset and still no joy when trying again.&nbsp;&nbsp;Can anyone help me here??&nbsp;&nbsp;Thanks!

Have you tried to connect the extender by using the WPS button? you will want to hold it down for 10 seconds on the extender and have wps active on your router.

Also, when I go into the wizard/IP address option again from my iPhone while connected to the _EXT network neither the orginal, nor the new _EXT network show up in the list of those available.

The network information for the _EXT network shows on my iPhone but not any other device when it is selected if that also helps the diagnosis??
