In loop trying to log on
When I try to log on, either with a one-time password or with my password, it says
“Your router is registered to [my email, the same one as I’m trying to get on with]. Login using this account and try again.
Thus I’m in a loop. Suggestions?
[the TP-Link in the previous post was an error, sorry. It's R6400v2.]

Not sure. I'm supposed to be checking to see if the router is up to date per a security article.
The best way to check the firmware on your router is with a web browser and the graphical user interface (GUI).

You can see the firmware version there.
To see if it is latest check the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
That page will have a library of firmware for your device. Then there is this:

- microchip8MasterLog on where?
Where is a one-time password used? I've never heard that for an NG router.- pbackstromAspirant
Hmm, can't replicate. Email is below. I did try resetting my password as well.
The main problem is I'm in Nighthawk, it shows a graph of my router plus Device Manager, Security, Internet Speed etc. I click Security and it takes me to the sign on screen that I keep looping back to. I push "Sign In," then "Sign into existing account," put my email and password in, and I'm back to the looping screen.
- microchip8MasterSo you're in the app and try to access Security? Which, if I recall, is about Armor/Bitdefender?

Have you tried a factory reset on the router, use a web browser to set up the router from scratch.

Then after it's setup, try using the NH app to log in?
- microchip8MasterSecurity on the app is not there to see if the router is up to date. It's there for Armor
