N600 can't find modem
Recently, a houseguest pushed the wifi button on my N600 WNDR3700. Now the router is seemingly unable to find my modem. I'm able to log into the router both wirelessly and via ethernet cable. I'm also able to connect to the modem directly and browse the internet. I've reset both the modem and router, and am experience the issue on multiple devices. I've gone through the setup process in the router's UI, and the setup can't seem to find the modem correctly. It thinks it's a static IP, but our Comcast plan is dynamic. At any rate, I'm totally lost.
When I'm connected to the router here are the lights:
Power - Green
2.4G - Green
5G - Blue
WWW - Orange
Help!!
Firmware update solved it, thanks team!

Hi ShawnLevin
Welcome to the community!
Since you are able to get online through the modem, you may just need to reconfigure the router in order to get back up and running.
See this article on how to configure the router to work with the modem.

Hi ElaineM,
Thanks for the link!
I've tried methods 1 and 2. I will attempt to update the router's Firmware manually, however why would it require a firmware update to fix when it was working fine, and the problem was caused from a user interaction?
At any rate, I'll give that a shot.

OP, what is the model of the modem? Is it a modem/router combo?

It's a Motorola SIRFboard SB6121, not a modem/router combo. The router is an N600 WNDR3700.

As mentioned earlier, I'd try reset to factory default, then set up the router again.
