No Wifi Connection
The wifi button will not come on. I have connection via ethernet cord but the wifi will not connect.
I have reset router and run all tests on the genie. I have not changed any settings. I was given this router by a friend. He literally just bought it and didnt want to go through the trouble of getting it to work or sending it back. (Lazy, rich guy, so he went and bought a new one and gave me this one).
Is there anything I havent tried or need to try to get the wifi to work on this dang thing?
Please HELP!!!
I wonder if Genie is part of the problem I have heard about strange issues when Genie does not play nice.

Can you log into the router?
Make sure the wifi is enable if you can.
Yes, I can log in and get access to everything online. The wifi button will not work. It says to enable the wifi hold the wifi button for 3-5 seconds and it will come on. I have done that. I even reset the router. I have held it down for 10-20 seconds. The light will not come on to say the WiFi is working. I went into the Genie settings and it says wifi is turned off. I tried turning it on and it says settings changed but nothing.

- It will not let me do that. It says the WiFi button on the router needs to be enabled before I can select that. The button does not light up at all. I've held to from 3-20 seconds. I just reset up the router and still doing the same. The button will not light up or blink. Literally nothing.
