rs500 slow upload speed
I am using Verizon fios 1 gig with a nighthawk rs500 and getting slow upload speed. Speeds measured using speedtest.net. I am showing wired speed but wifi speed is even worse at 2-3 mbps.
Wired speed with rs500 plugged in:
down: 938.07mbps
up: 43.77mbps
Wifi rs500:
down:745.8mbps
up: 3.2 mbps
Wired speed with old nighthawk r7000p (and similar speed when plugged directly to ont)
down: 938.69 mbps
up: 947.04 mbps
I used the chat feature and went through that for 2 hours after which they told me I needed to call support. The first support person hung up on me 10 minutes into the call. The second support person told me those speeds were within spec of what I should get and made me 3 way call Verizon to show me I was wrong. When verizon got on the phone and said that the upload speed was very slow the Netgear agent hung up.
The third time around I spoke to somebody who at least tried a few things. We reset the router a few times, reflashed the firmware, and took a bunch of pictures and a debug log. It got "escalated" to tier 2 who was not answering and they are supposed to call me back at some point....
Anything you guys can think of to try or am I better of returning this? Between hours on the phone with verizon and now 4 hours with netgear between chat and multiple phone calls I'm getting hopeless.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.Is Protection Engine enabled on the RS routers WEB page under advanced tab/Security? If it is, try to disable this and reboot the RS router aftewards.
What devices are you using to speed test over wired and wireless?
Be sure to disable any MAC Address randomizers on phones and pads while at home:

It was. I disabled and rebooted to the same results.
What devices are you using to speed test over wired and wireless?
Wired: HP desktop with a 1000/1000 realtek 'Gaming GbE Family Controller''
Wireless: Pixel 9 pro, Pixel 6, and a few android tablets.
And what speeds do you see when you ethernet connect a PC directly to your ONT with out the RS connected?

May I also get the beta firmware? The upload is unusable now.

What is the speed for your internet access service? If the speeds are 1Gbps or below, the release v1.0.1.90 on the link below should have it fixed. If your speed is higher than 1Gbps, please let me know and I will PM you the trial firmware for that.

When the speed slows down again,
* please check the speeds from the Nighthawk App.
* are you able to check the Ookla speed tests from a Ethernet connected computer?
Did you try other WiFi channels to see if that makes differences?
