Can't leave ReadyNAS102 from my ReadyCloud account to join it on my new myNetgear account

Hi there,

I have migrated my account to myNetgear as requested but now I can't discover/join my ReadyNas102 to my new account.

Firmware used 6.4.2.

I'm following the intruction on the readyCLOUD website, trying to leave the readynas from the admin page in the cloud tab and join it with my new myNetgear account. The problem is that I can't leave from my existing ReadyCloud account.

COMMENT: On the top left a red X is show with the label "Services Offline" with a question mark that says "Cannot register device. Try again later". If this is the problem, how do I fix this because in the last week has been like this always even though I have tried different things (rebooting, resetting).

Help please :(

thank you

cheers,

Emanuele

  • OK ALL GOOD.

    Everything works if:

    - Firmware in NAS: 6.5.0

    - Double check that readyNAS is connected to internet (click Check Updates for the firmware and double check that you have pop up message)

    - Make sure in the admin page under the cloud page that you are sign in with the new myNetgear email address

    - ReadyCloud version 1.12

In this way everything works good, local connection and VPN.

    thank for your help guys

    cheers,

Please update to 6.5.0, clear your web browser cache, close your web browser and reopen the web admin page and see if there is any difference.

      Hi,

      thank you.

When I click "check for update" nothing happens.

Can yoiu give me a link where I can download the firmware so I can update it manually?

      thank you

That suggests that your NAS is not connected to the internet. If you were running older firmware than 6.5.0 you should have been prompted to update.

If you have set a static I.P. on the NAS did you remember to specify the DNS Server addresses?
