Connecting a ReadyNAS RN422 to a backup RND2000 V1 both in separate locations
Hi, excuse the inoocent post, but I am quite new to this!
I am looking to buy a ReadyNAS RN422 as a home network backup system. I have an older RND2000 V1 already. Could I install the RND2000 at another location (on the wifi/router) and use it as a remote back up for the RN422? ie both systems would be connected to the local networks at separate locations. Grateful for confirmation if this is possible (and how easy it is to configure) before I purchase the RN422. Thanks in advance.

Yes it is possible using rysncfor both NAS.

Please note that having backup on several storage aside from your NAS is always advise. Though the NAS helps you when there is failure, having multiple copies of backups will help you with your data redundancy.
