ReadyCLOUD Login screwed up
I can't access my ReadyNAS files (won't let me sign in). My solution was to try to use the ReadyCloud (computer memorized my password) but it won't let me sign in either. I am beyond my 90 days so Netgear won't help me figure out if it is a hardware or software issue so I'm hoping someone here can help. I can't access my business files. I bought this so t wouldn't be without my files again. I turned nothing off, didn't update ANYTHING it just wouldn't access this morning!

Is there a limited time that ReadyCLOUD operates for free? Netgear's customer serivce SUCKS ~ they want me to pay them to tell me if I need to pay them or if it's some hardware issue or if it's something I should have to pay for!
Same here, this is an issue with ReadyCloud, I and many others are experiencing the same issues. Apparently the NetGear peeps are aware of a problem and working on it!
What is wrong with Netgear? Couldn't they have just told me that instead of saying "we won't talk to you unless you pay us"?
I know seems crazy, I have also messaged their Facebook page in hope of getting some more info. I have been trying to resolve this issue for about 5 hours, have got zero work done today, good job I had no clients in!!
Shouldn't I still be able to access it directly w/o going through their system though?
Yes you should If your plugged directly into it, Im still figuring out this myself.

I'm having the same issue.
With all of the chatter hereon multiple feeds, it would seem the ReadyCloud webssite is down.
Still doesn't explain why there is no notice placed in this forum or on main ReadyCloud support web page.
Regards!

***UPDATE****
The ReadyCloud website seems to be back up, but I was still offline.
Through trial and error I found I had to login from the administrator page, not the ReadyCloud login, and go to the CLOUD button and turn it on again.
After turning it on I was able to access the NAS with the app on my PC and my AOS mobile devices.
Why and How it got turned off is a mystery.
Regards!

We are investigating what happened and hope to have an update to share soon.
Once home folders have been deleted data that was in them will need to be restored from backup.
ReadyCLOUD Services are back online, but if your system has been unregistered from ReadyCLOUD you will need to set ReadyCLOUD up again.

Hi Guys,
I've had a breakthrough in the last 10 mins.
My Home Folder / main admin account was erased as a result of the recent system outage, luckily I never used the folder for storage. But the major problem was no Admin access.
To Overcome this, create a USB Recovery Stick and boot from front USB, this will reset the admin account, however for me the defaults weren't as I expected.
defualt username: admin
password: was the very first password I used on the NAS when I unboxed it. Like me you might have changed the password when we did the account merge last year, that new password won't work.
I Hope this helps someone as I've been trying for days and finally got somewhere, now do I risk OS 6.70 .... :0
