Readycloud offline

Hi!

I have trouble to connect to the NAS with Readycloud. The problem is related to the ReadyCloud user. If I log on as me everything is ok, but if I log as my wife it only shows the NAS symbol and says it offline. To try her login on an other computer doesn't help either. I have tried to make a new ReadyCloud user but it didn't help. I have shared folders to her and she got an invitation from Readycloud at this time to this folders so it seems that everything should be ok and I can't figure out whats wrong.

Does anybody has any suggestions? Our 90 days support is not longer avaible.

  • What happends when you login her account to readycloud.netgear.com? Do you see the NAS where she is permitted to access?

Did your wife already confirmed to the invitation link she received via e-mail?
  • Sorry for not answering earlier. I do not reach our system now so this is out of my poor memory...

If I use her account I can se the NAS, but I cant se her folders. Just the NAS symbol offline.
Yes, I have confirmed her invitaion link, both to ReadyCloud and to specific folders.

  • Try stopping the readycloud service and reboot the NAS, after you do this enable the readycloud service again. If it will give you the same thing with your wife's account I suggest you contact support.
  • After being away from home a couple of weeks, the same problem came back, but on my account! Everything was working fine on all accounts and all HW before we left but now only my wifes account works. We havent touched the NAS during this weeks, and it has been powered on whole time.
Unfourtunatly Nhellies suggestion didn´t work this time.
Is it anybody out there with a good idea? Our support time at Netgear is out since a long time, and I´m rather tired of this unit at this time...

  • BUMP!

    I'm having the same issue as Thisbe_1 I have a RN102 with v6.2.4 firmware.

Upon attempting to login to ReadyCloud I get the error " *blank*NAS is offline, please check power and internet connectivity"

I can ping my NAS successfully, can browse to it using file explorer, can access the admin page by typing in the IP and browse to all of my folders in the admin console but ReadyCloud shows my NAS as offline and does not display any of my data, also tried holding the "backup" button on the device for 5 seconds and searching for it by serial number under the "Discover" tab in a couple of last desperate attempts.... really confused but I wouldn't be surprised if this were a self-inflicted issue :?

I'm currently turning off ReadyCloud and waiting for my reboot to re-enable ReadyCloud to see if it resolves my issue.

I'll edit post or add another reply to follow up once I've done so.

    EDIT*

So I tried re-enabling ReadyCloud after reboot of NAS and this is what displayed.... any ideas to resolve this would be greatly appreciated
