- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredSo just to confirm your new Duo is a Duo v2, i.e. runs RAIDiator 5.3.x and has new Dashboard web-interface?
- KoenDegenAspirantYes it is a v2, And I'm Running RAIDar, No RAIDiator, Is that required?
I'm Completely new in this world, so sorry for the stupid questions :P - StephenBGuru - Experienced User
RAIDiator is the ReadyNAS firmware, so you are certainly running it.KoenDegen wrote: Yes it is a v2, And I'm Running RAIDar, No RAIDiator, Is that required? - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredWhat do you see in the Info (far right) column in RAIDar?
- KoenDegenAspirant4.1.7, I'm updating it already btw :) Noticed that the Raidiator is the firmware indeed.
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThat is a Duo v1, not a Duo v2. So you posted in the wrong forum (as I suspected from reading the first post in the thread). The Duo v1 (Sparc) runs RAIDiator 4.1.x. It comes with ReadyNAS Photos (I) not ReadyNAS Photos II.
Please have a read of http://www.readynas.com/?p=5
Also take a look at the Photos forum e.g. the Troubleshooting tips stick (http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=58&t=16820). Note that the Duo (v1) only has User mode, so ignore references to share mode.
You can ignore points number 2 and 5 that yoh-dah made in the opening post in the thread. - KoenDegenAspirantOw it is a Duo v1 yes, i typed that wrong, Already said in the first post that it was a v1 indeed, but ok.
Thanks for your help, yoh-dah's post helped me out :) Im in now.
thanks!
