iStat Installation on Sparc
I have an NV and an NV+ and I'm running NAS Utils on my Android phone. I'd like to install iStat to view performance but can't seem to find the installation steps. The app points to this URL but I get an "Access Denied" when I try to browse to it.
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. My searches have not been successful.
Thanks,
-Steve

Not sure why you are seeing the access denied, but here is a partial copy of the url you can't reach:
Istat (04/23/2010)
- Changes in 1.5:
- based on Istatd 0.5.7
- Temperature and fan support with lm_sensors (not for Readynas)
- Fix: Memory meterics incorrect in Linux (cached).
- Fix: Do not create PID file if it's not specified in config.
- Fix: Removed unneccesary linkage to libld.
- Fix: Reverted load avg. probe for procfs.
- Fix: Segfault when reading cache with more than one client.
- Fix: PID file contained the mother PID when -d
- now support bonjour (thanks chirpa)

I am also getting that "Access Denied" on any add on pages I reference (the direct link did work for istat).

Yes, the link you provided I was able to open (although I didn't find any instructions on that page).
If you are able to open the page that I and others are having trouble with, would you mind just posting the installation instructions? Or, if you don't want to clutter the board, you could PM them to me. Either one would be much appreciated!

There are no special installation instructions that I know of.
Just the usual
-open frontview
-select system->update from the left, then click on the local tab
-select the istat bin file with "choose file"
-then select "upload and verify"
-finally "perform system update".
Post install, you can see istatd in services->installed Add-ons.
You can set the numeric password, and also remove the add-on from there.
