perl issues on duo

I installed the php addon but i'm not using it so I have it disabled, gitolite is written in perl. Perl core seems to be the problem, does the readynas have a stripped down version of perl core?

The PHP add-on from WhoCares? or another one? What version?

If you have a current version of his add-on you shouldn't be able to disable it, I think. What version of the add-on do you have?

Also if you enable it you can search for php5-ldap on the PHPInfo page (think this is found at http://ip.address.of.nas/PHP5/phpinfo.php) and see what it has to say about it.

Via SSH, what do you see if you do the following?:

dpkg -l | grep php5-ldap

v5.3.8-rnsparc-1.4.1 on the frontview addons I don't have it ticked

iU php5-ldap 5.3.8-1.1 LDAP module for php5

So you have that module listed and also found by dpkg command I mentioned above?

Can you also try this:

dpkg -l | grep libsasl

The php5-ldap thingy is a "known issue" but not the source of the current problem, really.

Back on topic: According to my crystal ball (package search on Debian ;)) the English.pm file should be part of the the perl-modules package. Or at least it is with newer Perl versions. What does

dpkg -S English.pm

tell you?
