ReadyNAS Duo V2

Buongiorno,

Grazie mille

The problem is that your NAS only supports TLS 1.0 - which current browsers have deprecated.

Start by installing firefox.  Set security.tls.version.min to 1 (browse to about:config and search for the setting).

After that you will be able to log into the NAS dashboard.  Once you have regained access, install this add-on:

The add-on will add TLS 1.2 support to the NAS web server - letting you access the NAS with any browser.

Test that be changing security.tls.version.min back to the default setting, and then confirm that you can still log into the dashboard.

      Hi Stephen;

      Thank you for your reply.

I was able to access the NAS dashboard and install the add-on.

However, the NAS does not appear in File Explorer and it does not seem possible to add it as a network resource.

I am unable to access the contents of the NAS.

I tried to go to File Explorer to connect a network drive, but an error appeared.

That is a different issue, and the add-on doesn't help with that.

Is SMB 1.0/CIFS enabled in the windows settings?  ("turn windows features on or off").

Also, I suggest using a NAS user account instead of trying to connect with anonymous access.  As a test, you can try using the NAS admin account credentials (though it is better to create a NAS user account).
