4 x 2TB installed in a OS6 how long does it take to RAID format?
Just purchased the OS6 system and have installed 4 x 2TB seagate Hard drives that were previously used. It ha now bee 24 hours and the system is saying that it is at 57.31% Resync data. Does it usually take this long?

Which services and apps are you running?
The sync uses a lot of resources and can take a long time. The more things you are doing with the NAS the slower it will be.
The NAS has to sync the disks sector by sector.
