APC UPS + Readynas Ultra + Synology?

Get an APC UPS from the community compatibility list. Connect the USB to the back of the Ultra. You can then configure it to share the UPS. If your Synology supports connecting to a NAS using NUT (Network UPS Tools) over the network then you can configure it to receive shutdown alerts from the Ultra over your network (you will of course still have to connect the power cable for the Synology to the UPS). You will of course have to connect the power cable for your router/switch to the UPS as well.

how do I set the ReadyNAs to send shutdown alert to the Synology., if for example it supports connecting to NAS using NUT as you have mentioned?
Can it be done using the frontview? Or do I have to configure it using the terminal(ssh)?
