Boot Menu logic
Is there any possibility that Netgear might consider copying the Boot Menu logic of RAIDiator 4.2.25 BACK into RAIDiator 4.1.13(+)? Yes, I can accept a NO based on basic SPARC vs. Intel differences. ...

@StephenB,
Yes, early this morning, I realized just how rhetorical my query was. When I started 'nas', I could not afford the 'window/screen' models; and, they were bigger than I wished to own and learn. Yes, the boot loader in the DUO is a PITA. By contrast, the boot loader in the Ultra2 and Ultra2+ is a breeze 'IF' one follows the directions implicitly.
@mdgm,
Yes, I realized that my DUO was headed for the EOL-farm very shortly after I bought it. Disappointed was I. This means that I will run-it-to-failure; and, then I will dust-bin it. I have a Synology 213J online ready to replace the DUO. The sadder fact is that both of my Ultra's are also on the EOL-farm also. Fine. I will run both of Ultra's to failure also. Then I will decide what to replace them with. For sure, I will always have a nas at home. Next to my router, the nas is the best improvement I have made to my home; and, the only duty I require is file storage, and a backup target for my clients. I am OK with my 'old' boxes and I will continue on. Thanks for the reply.
