CASE # 19178126 - Readynas 2100 Ethernet Issues
Hey all
Has anyone had an issue with the Readynas 2100 unit where you boot the device up but the RAIDar dosent pick up the device. You then take out the network cable from the ethernet port, re-seat it again and all comes online?
I thought maybe a faulty port, but it does the same thing in the 2nd ethernet port ... could be bad luck and have two faulty ethernet ports.
Device has current firmware 4.2.20

- You may wish to open a support case e.g. at my.netgear.com and ppost your case number (edit the thread title i.e. subject of first post in the thread to include it).
Latest firmware is actually 4.2.21: http://www.readynas.com/RAIDiator_x86_4_2_21_Notes
Please update to 4.2.21 and see if that makes a difference. - Have opened a support case with Netgear and updated thread subject.
Device is running 4.2.21, was a slight mis-type on my end. - Does an OS Re-install make a difference?
- Has a different ethernet cable been tried?
