Downgrade NV+ to old Firmware
I bought ReadyNas NV+ with new firmware already installed (4.1.7).
I showed that now impossible to create some owner directory to select the permission.
In fact i want to give an access to users with security for some folders.
I found in my documentation that it's possible on older firmware. Could you have the possibilities on new firmware version to do that or may i downgrade to old firmare the product .
Thanks for you answer.

- AmidalaNETGEAR ExpertI tested with 4.1.7 firmware, and add a new share folder (share name is "abc").
By default,in Share Access Restrictions of Share Listing, the system will automatically select "Allow guest access "option.
Unchecked this option, then you could set permission("write/read" or "read only"). - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThere's a good guide to configuring permissions here: How to Setup ReadyNAS Permissions
I suggest you have a read of that guide.
