Drive 3 LED lit, RAIDar & Console say #3 is fine
My ReadyNAS 4 Pro recently lit up the drive 3 LED. However, RAIDar and admin console show 4 green (healthy) indicators. Logs show no errors/events. How can I troubleshoot the lit LED?
Thanks,
Mike

I don't see any problems in the smart info you posted, but I would remove the drive serial number. It is unnecessary and never a good idea to post serial numbers in a public forum. - merc4a2AspirantThanks, edited. #3 is the only LED lit.

Edit the thread title (i.e. subject of first post in the thread) to include your case number. They'll likely need to review your logs then possibly depending on the nature of the problem a RMA might be needed.
- PapaBear1ApprenticeDefinitely.
In the meantime, if you do not have a current and complete backup of your data, now would be a good time to start while you still have access to the NAS. Something is definitely amiss.
Since the normal state is with a bay number being lit when a drive is present and active, and all four should have been lit since the initial setup, you may not have noticed a difference until only one was lit. The fact that all four are green in Frontview would tend to indicate that the array is still sound, there may be a hardware issue. A full and current backup will give you that Plan B to fall back on - just in case. - chirpaLuminaryIt might have dropped from the OS RAID. The data RAID array would be intact, but if the OS mirror (across all disks) is missing it, that LED would light up.
If you download the system logs and view mdstat.log, may give some clues.
