DUO V2: after scheduled power on, usb don't work #19235128
Hello,
I bought last week a DUO v2.
After activating scheduled power off and on, the two usb ports on backside don't work after on.
I must plug off the power cable to made it work again :-(
Two external USB Drives from WD are plugged in on back, one on front, the disk on front works without problems, changing the disks have no effect.
Have someone an idea what can help?
Sorry for my bad english,
Regards
Helmut

Which RAIDiator is on your Duo v2?
I tried on my Duo v2 these two days, I can not reproduce the issue, USB disk worked normally after schedule power on, my USB drivers are WD USB2.0 500GB WDBABV5000ABK-00 and WD USB3.0 500GB WDBACY5000ABK-00.
Could you download logs in UI? then sendThanks!
- evan2NETGEAR ExpertI checked your logs, system detect USB device when Duo v2 power on,

RAIDiator Version: 5.3.5
I test it again:
System restart via GUI: USB disks works fine
System shutdown via GUI: after immediatly Power On: USB disks works fine
Scheduled Powern Off/On (1 hour waiting time): USB disks dosn't works!
Shutdown via GUI, power cable pluging out ... pluging in, power on: USB disks works fine
System shutdown via GUI: after 1 hour waiting time power On: USB disks works fine
very strange ... - evan2NETGEAR ExpertPlease open a tech support case, maybe our tech support need to remote access to check the issue when USB disks doesn't work after schedule power on.
- FurtiAspirantThanks, i will do that --> Case Number: 19235128
I changed today the external usb drives between my DUO and my DUOv2 - same Problem -> the disk works fine after scheduled power on with my DUO and they does'nt work with my DUOv2 :-( - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredCan you download your logs (open the Dashboard, click Configure and go to System > Info > Logs > Download Logs), extract the zip contents and open bios_ver.log? What are the contents of bios_ver.log?
- FurtiAspirantNo Problem:
U-Boot 1.1.4 (Feb 6 2012 - 14:40:46) Marvell version: 3.4.27
Netgear version: Uboot-1_1_4-NetgearDUOV3-V1008 If U-Boot Endiannes is going to change (LE->BE or BE->LE), Then Env parameters should be overriden.. - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThat's good. I guess evan probably already checked that when he reviewed your logs.
