Duo V2 Partitioned 1TB USB HDD?

Just set up my new Duo V2 and tried copying media files from a WD 1TB USB 3.0 HDD FAT32 to the nas through one of the rear USB ports. It didn't mount so I plugged it into the second rear port then the front port, both of which didn't mount. With it still plugged into the front USB, and without thinking, I pushed the backup button. To double check the drive I tried mounting it to my MacBook and it wouldn't mount. Using the Disk Utility I found that the FAT32 partition is gone and there are now 2 small EXT partitions on the drive. I didn't think the Duo V2 could format a USB drive but by pressing the backup button could it have tried to backup the empty nas drive and corrupted my FAT format? The drive spins up when plugged into the nas so in a last ditch effort I tried to force a backup from the front USB to the nas and that didn't work either. Pretty frustrated I had about 800GB of movies on there that I'm assuming are gone.

Some one tell me Duo v2 Kernal EOL. Is true? Do please update kernal too new one too fix USB bug.
  • No, it never showed up on the dashboard before the added partitions or after. I'll check the logs but since I've done a factory reset so the original issue won't be logged. I had another issue with ReadyCloud not working either and called Netger support about it. They did the factory reset. I'll post my claim number when I get home.
  • My case number is: 20925750

Below is the logs of me removing and reinserting the drive in the front USB then trying to force backup from front USB to the Media share.
