Is SATA 3Gb/s interface the same as SATA 6Gb/s?
This is probably a stupid question... I have a ReadyNAS Ultra 2 and I tried to put in a Seagate Barracuda 1Tb 7200.12 disk, but it didn't seem to fit! I noticed on the HCL that this model is the 3G...

SATA 6Gb/s is backwards compatible with SATA 3Gb/s.\
Are you sure you secured the drive in the drive tray correctly? The drive should fit.
