large USB disk for Sparc and x86 - 4K or 512e?
I need to get two large USB disks for an NV+ and an NVX. Yes, I know the NV+ USB disk cannot exceed 2TB, however it seems many of the modern off the shelf USB disks are using drives with 4Kb sectors....
What version of RAIDiator?
Have to tried both front and rear ports?
Also, I see this is a portable hard drive. It's possible the USB ports in the NAS aren't supplying enough power to the drive. Have you tried plugging the USB drive in via a USB Hub which has its own power supply?
